Experience the health benefits and rejuvenation of yoga-based stretches and relaxation exercises. A great way to stretch your body and mind!
This is a gentle stretching program with emphasis on an array of body and breathing exercises to promote better well-being and relaxation. Each week will have a different focus on one of three areas: stretching, deep breathing, or balance.
No prior yoga experience is needed. All fitness levels are welcome. Exercises can be done with the help of a chair if needed or preferred, otherwise please bring a mat or large towel, water, and wear loose or comfortable clothing.
The Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
