Children will get to craft their own Truffula Tree from Dr.Seuss’ ‘The Lorax’.
Join us for a whimsical adventure at our library program inspired by Dr. Seuss' 'The Lorax.' In this creative workshop designed for children ages 6-12, participants will have the opportunity to bring a colorful Truffula Tree to life. Through hands-on crafting, kids will use a variety of colorful materials to design and assemble their own tree, and together read ‘The Lorax’.

The Hiawassee Branch began as a bookmobile station in 1962 and was first known as the Pine Hills Library. In later moves the branch became the West Colonial branch and in March 2000, Hiawassee. In early 2010, the Hiawassee Branch moved to a new home near the corner of Hiawassee Road and West Colonial Drive in the Highland Lakes shopping plaza.
