Learn the basic skills of breathing control and types of meditation. Develop abilities to cope with stress and anxiety through mindfulness meditation. Develop abilities to cope with stress and anxiety through mindfulness meditation. For beginners to advanced; ages 16 and up. Wear comfortable clothes; chairs will be provided if needed. 

Facilitators: Lucia Beninati, M.S., C.C. is a meditation coach, certified professional life coach, and nutritionist. Lucia is dedicated to help clients to clear their minds through mindfulness meditation, change eating behavior through life coaching, and help clients to reach their health goals through nutrition. Eliane Ferreira Cesar M.S., CPLC is a certified professional life coach, psychoanalyst, and founder of in Focus LC, LLC.

Every Thursday in the Southwest Reading Area. Registration preferred. Walk-ins welcome.

About the branch

The Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
