Take the fashion world by storm! We will teach you everything you need to know to start sewing like a pro. Come learn how to sew your very own pair of shorts.
Learn to sew shorts from start to finish using a professional pattern, fabric of your choice, and professional sewing machines in this 3-day camp. Each session will be 2 hours. Students will need to have taken our Kids Sewing: Introduction to the Sewing Machine class before registering. Materials will be provided for class.
If you would like to bring your own fabric, please bring two yards of broadcloth. If you have any questions about your choice of fabric, please do not hesitate to ask our instructors at West Oaks.
Requirements :
Day 1: Reading a professional pattern and Cutting your fabric
Day 2: Sewing seams of your shorts
Day 3: Finishing hems and waistbands
