Turn your ideas into reality with Ableton Live. Live is made for music creation and performance with fast, fluid and flexible options.

Master the fundamental skills necessary to use this powerful software, including navigating the environment and tools, working with arrangement and session views, and capturing audio and MIDI sounds.

  • Class Duration: 1.5 hour
  • Age Requirements: 13 and up
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Sound for Audio Engineering
  • Required Skills: Ability to navigate and open programs in the Mac OS X operating system; basic understanding of physics of sound and digital audio theory, including sample rate and bit depth
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)

The Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The Library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in the Orlando Public Library include Children's, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children's Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Technology and Education Center is located on the second floor and includes the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
