Washington Park - Technology Classroom

Create an easy circle skirt using your body measurements. This is a 3-Day Class.

Create a simple circular skirt from start to finish using body measurements, and professional sewing machines.

This is a 3-Day Class. Each session will be 2 hours.

Students are required to bring materials:

3 yards of silk, cotton, silk/cotton blend, polyester, or lightweight linen that is at least 58" wide.

1 12'' zipper.

Students are required to have basics sewing skills and taken Introduction to the Sewing Machine, Patterns and Fabric.

Registration is required with a Library card in good standing. Seats are limited, so register today! To register, please call us at 407.835.7323 or visit any of our locations in person.

The Washington Park Branch serves the Carver Shores and Metrowest areas, along with the many other subdivisions and local businesses surrounding it. The Washington Park branch has a history that dates back to 1924. It is a combination of the former Booker T. Washington and Washington Shores Libraries. The two branches combined as one and opened in this current location on April 11, 1984. Although small, the glass walls on the front and back of the building create a bright, airy and comfortable atmosphere.
