Impress that special someone in your life by wrapping their gift in a handmade gift bag! These gift bags can be made for any occasion. They are fast and easy to make and each one is unique.

  • Class Duration: 2 hours
  • Age Requirements: 13 - Adult
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Sewing: Introduction to the Sewing Machine
  • Required Skills: Participants must be able to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, sew straight seams and cut fabric
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)

We provide fabric for your first time taking this class. If you choose to come to this class/series more than one time, you will need to provide your own fabric.

The Washington Park Branch serves the Carver Shores and Metrowest areas, along with the many other subdivisions and local businesses surrounding it. The Washington Park branch has a history that dates back to 1924. It is a combination of the former Booker T. Washington and Washington Shores Libraries. The two branches combined as one and opened in this current location on April 11, 1984. Although small, the glass walls on the front and back of the building create a bright, airy and comfortable atmosphere.
