Sewing: Unlined Vest (3-Day)

Learn to make an unlined vest, it has optional back ties and slits, button, pockets, and length variance.

Learn to make an unlined vest, it has optional back ties and slits, button, pocket, and length variance. Students are required to bring fabric.

Each session will be 2 hours. This is a multi-day class.

We provide the pattern McCall's 2260

Students are required to bring materials:

3 yards of  44" wide fabric
2 1/2 yard of 58" wide fabric.

1 yard of interfacing.

FABRICS TYPES: Cotton, Linen, Challis, Crepe, Lightweight Denim.

Notions: it will be decided on the first day of class.

Students must be able to proficiently use a standard sewing machine, read patterns and cut fabric. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes to this series.

The Washington Park Branch serves the Carver Shores and Metrowest areas, along with the many other subdivisions and local businesses surrounding it. The Washington Park branch has a history that dates back to 1924. It is a combination of the former Booker T. Washington and Washington Shores Libraries. The two branches combined as one and opened in this current location on April 11, 1984. Although small, the glass walls on the front and back of the building create a bright, airy and comfortable atmosphere.
