Washington Park - Technology Classroom

Crochet cute baby boots. Size 0 - 6 month. Students are required to bring tools and yarn.

  • Class Duration: 1 1/2 hours, 2 days.
  • Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Crochet Level 2
  • Required Skills: Chain, single crochet, double crochet, and half-double crochet stitches.
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)

Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project:

  • At least 200 yd . yards of worsted/medium/size 4 weight yarn
  • Size 5 mm [US H-8] Hook

Note: Beginning crochet skills are necessary to be successful in this class.  New to crochet? Check out Let's Crochet Level 1.

The Washington Park Branch serves the Carver Shores and Metrowest areas, along with the many other subdivisions and local businesses surrounding it. The Washington Park branch has a history that dates back to 1924. It is a combination of the former Booker T. Washington and Washington Shores Libraries. The two branches combined as one and opened in this current location on April 11, 1984. Although small, the glass walls on the front and back of the building create a bright, airy and comfortable atmosphere.
