Watch a movie screening of 1938 classic The Adventures of Robin Hood followed by a moderated discussion led by UCF Medievalist professor, Stephen Hopkins. Registration req. 18+ Light refreshments.

Join us for a screening and moderated discussion of the 1938 classic The Adventures of Robin Hood starring Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland. We will be joined by UCF professor and Medievalist Stephen Hopkins for the discussion portion to talk about the accuracy of the film and the history of Robin Hood.

Registration required.  For 18+
Light refreshments served.

About the branch

The Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
