Put on your apron and tune in to create and bake your own mini sweet or savory empanada. Recommended for lower and upper elementary chefs. Adult supervision recommended.
For this follow-along Cuisine Corner Junior event you’ll need; store bought Puff Pastry Sheets (instructor will be using Pepperidge Farm brand), pre-made sweet or savory filling, 1 egg, ½ cup of white sugar, ½ water and all purpose flour.
Essential tools include: stove, oven, small pot for boiling, pastry brush, bowl, fork, spoon, measuring cup (1/2 cup), baking sheet, rolling pin, round cookie cutter or cup.
