Put on your apron and tune in to create and bake your own apple crisp. Recommended for lower and upper elementary chefs. Adult supervision recommended.
For this follow-along Cuisine Corner Junior event you’ll need: 2-3 pounds apples (tart apples work best for baking), cinnamon, sugar, orange juice (1/4 cup), softened butter, oats, walnuts or pecans (optional).
Essential tools include: oven, vegetable peeler, knife, bowls, spoon, measuring cups, measuring spoons, baking pan (8 inch square or 9 inch round), nonstick spray.
