Online Class: Sewing - Knit Dress (4-Day)

Intermediate to Advanced Level

Create a beautiful casual dress out of jersey or knit fabric. Learn to add bias and stay tape to shoulder seams to form proper draping of fabric.

Required Materials:

• 2 yards of cotton lycra or all cotton knit jersey at 60 inches wide.
  Note: Please make sure this is a knit material with 25% stretch to it.
• 1 yd bias or stay tape.

Before Class:

• Pattern Printed at 100%
  Note: The pattern will be emailed to you.
• Tape printed pattern pieces together
• Trace pattern pieces or cut out to the size you want.
  Note: Sizing sheet will be emailed to you.

This is a Virtual Event hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host. A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host.  

• Class Duration: 4 days, 2 hours per day
• Age Requirements: Adult
• Recommended Prerequisite: Sewing: Introduction to the Sewing Machine
• Required Skills: Participants must be able to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, sew straight seams and cut fabric.
• Out of District Fee: $40 (includes class fees)
