Purchased a pair of pants or skirt that's just a bit too long? Join us in this sewing class and learn how to complete simple hems on everything from dress pants to skirts.
Skills Required: Participants must be able to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, sew straight seams and cut fabric.
Age requirements: 13 to Adult
Recommended Prerequisite: Basic Sewing: Introduction to the Sewing Machine
If you will be participating in this class, you will need:
- A sewing machine
- Thread
- Scissors
- 2 pieces of scrap fabric, 10"x20"
- Pins
- Tailor's Chalk, tailor pen, or some other marking tool
- Ruler
