Do you love video games and LEGO? Learn to use Unity by modding a microgame with virtual LEGO bricks.
Participants will learn core concepts needed to create video games with Unity.
Day 1: Learn how navigate, access and utilize Unity’s interface, workspace and tools.
Day 1: Use virtual LEGO bricks to create custom game objects and combine them with LEGO behavior bricks to bring them to life.
Day 3: Create and publish your own LEGO microgame and share it with friends and family.
Age Requirements: 13-17
Software Requirements: Download Unity Hub and LEGO Microgame. Detailed instructions will be emailed prior to event
This event occurs online through Zoom. Please provide your email at registration to participate. A device with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. The event confirmation/reminder email will contain the Zoom link to attend. If registered for a series, you will receive a separate confirmation email and link for each day. You can also view and join virtual events through attend.ocls.info/myevents.

For FY2020-21 37.2% of the total cost for OCLS equipment, accessories, and services for virtual programs, events, and classes, as well as PPE and STEM Learning Kits ($64,689), is supported by federal money; 62.8% of this project ($109,311) is supported by local money. The total budget for this project is $174,000.
