This is a Virtual Event hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host.
A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate.
If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host.
Class Duration: 2 hours
Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Knit Level 2
Required Skills: Ability to cast-on, execute the knit and purl stitch, increase and decrease stitches, and bind-off
Materials Fee: None
Suggested Materials: Students should have the following materials to complete the project*
Soap Saver Pattern
- At least 80 yards of size 4 worsted weight 100% cotton yarn
- Knitting Needles US Size 5 or 6 (3.75mm or 4mm)
- Double Pointed Needles US Size 4 (3.5mm) or 5 (3.75mm)
- Yarn needle
Day 1 on March 10: Practice knitting with simple textures
Day 2 on March 24: Finish Project in class and learn the i-cord
*If you do not have the suggested materials, please use any materials have on hand. At the start of class, please inform the instructor if you are using materials other than those suggested.
