This course goes over different techniques for creating believable human portraits. I will use a digital media, but you can follow me on traditional medium. By the end of the classes, students should have created one fully rendered portraits. Starting with the basic shapes, Identifying the landmarks, then finally rendering with a basic Value setup.
Week 1 Exploring structure landmarks
analyzing the front, side, and ¾ view of the head
Week 2 Continue with the landmarks and facial features
Week 3 Structure and facial Features part 2
Week 4 Values, lighting and rendering
This is a Virtual Event hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom room before the event from your event host.
A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate.
If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host.
