Teens will use their creativity and ability to communicate to create a work of art that encourages environmental citizenship through recycling found objects. This is an art program using small, discarded objects to create a mosaic. The craft requires collecting an abundance of small colorful objects such as bottle caps, soda tabs, buttons, scraps of fabric, felt or paper, beads, dyed pasta, Lego pieces, small toys, charms, seeds, etc., prior to the program. PowerPoints are included to deliver Icebreaker Activity and Information about inspiring, young environmental activists making a name for themselves and generating followers to make a difference in the fight against climate change.
