Learn where a pirate can go potty as we read a hilarious book written by author Dawn Prochovnic. This storytime will support your child’s early literacy development. Recommended for ages 18-36 months.
This event will practice literacy skills through pirate stories, songs, flannels and a pirate treasure hunt. All activities require little to no material and there is an optional pirate ship paper plate craft.
Located in a small "Florida Cracker" style building, with an appealing wrap-around porch, the Windermere branch has an interesting history that spans over four decades. Begun as a town library, it became a branch of the Orange County Library System in August 1991. The current building was constructed through the efforts and the generous donations of many Windermere residents, including those of the Franklin P. Chase Family.
