Attend a family community screening for children ages 0-5. Children will engage in activity stations while their caregiver completes a questionnaire. A trained professional will review the results.
Books, Balls, & Blocks (BBB) events are fun, family community-screening events for families and children (ages birth-5). These events are various activity stations in which children can engage in developmentally appropriate play while their parents complete a valid and reliable developmental questionnaire to pinpoint their child’s developmental progress. A trained professional will then review the screening results with the parent/caregiver, and provide information and referrals to any support or services that may be needed.

The North Orange Branch began as a bookmobile station in 1950, and was replaced by a branch in 1964. Moving to the Palm Plaza Shopping Center in 1969, the branch occupied a 3500 square foot space there for twenty years. In 1989 the branch moved to its present 12,000 square foot facility. As the name implies, the North Orange branch serves the areas of Apopka, Plymouth, Zellwood, Tangerine, and environs.
