It's time to celebrate all the fun you had this summer. Complete the Summer Reading Challenge to enter the Grand Prize Drawing and see if you are one of the lucky winners! Ages 6–12.
There will be five End of Summer Celebrations simultaneously at the following locations: Chickasaw, North Orange, South Creek, Orlando Public Library, and Winter Garden. Please register to attend only one event at your preferred location.
Only participants ages 0–18 are eligible to enter. One entry per person. Orange County property owner and fee cards are also eligible to win. Reciprocal borrowers, OCLS staff, including board members, and their families, are ineligible. Participants are eligible to win up to one grand prize by EITHER a) attending one of the in-person End of Summer Celebrations taking place on July 30 for ages 6-12, OR b) by a virtual raffle held on August 1 for ages 0-18 held after the End of Summer Celebrations. All participants that attend the in-person End of Summer Celebration, who did not win a grand prize will be entered into the virtual grand prize drawing. LYNX Bus Link 15 Curry Ford Road / Valencia College East
The Chickasaw Branch is the newest addition to the Orange County Library System. It is located in east Orange County on North Chickasaw Trail near the corner of Valencia College Lane. The branch is minutes away from several educational institutions (including elementary and middle schools and Valencia College) making it a popular spot for students of all ages. This library boasts several unique features including a pebble chime, modern architectural awnings and two outdoor decks where the community can relax and enjoy our great Florida weather. Opened on July 18, 2015, the Chickasaw Branch was funded by a Florida Library Construction Grant.
