This is a 4-day camp. The camp runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Day 1: Lights, Camera, Action: Learn the basic operations and settings of the video studio cameras, as well as general care & use of a camera. Learn about film set positions and be assigned one of these roles.
Day 2: Storyboard Development and Documentation: Work in small teams to develop a script and storyboard for short segments to be filmed. Shoot behind-the-scenes footage of development process.
Day 3: Production Day 1: Begin filming scripted and storyboarded segments using studio cameras and equipment. Continue shooting behind-the-scenes footage.
Day 4: Finish up and backup data from the camera to the computer.

The Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The Library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in the Orlando Public Library include Children's, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children's Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Technology and Education Center is located on the second floor and includes the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
