Create props and armor made out of crafting foam! In this virtual meetup you will discover the tools and materials needed to start your foamsmithing journey in different budget ranges.
Foamsmithing is the art of creating props and costumes using different types of foam products. Whether for cosplay or movie prop, the first step into costuming is selecting the material in which it will be constructed. In this course we will show you the basic tools and materials you’ll need to get started. Foam comes in all shapes, sizes, density and prices that will fit your budget. We’ll discuss what software to use and where to find easy ready-made templates. You will learn all the steps needed from concept, cutting, assembly and painting.
