Use 100% natural cotton batting to create a handy potato zapper. It works in the microwave to help retain moisture for steamy potatoes. This is a fun project and makes a great gift item.
We provide the pattern. https://www.pellonprojects.com/projects/wrap-n-zap-potato-zapper/
We provide the Materials for the first time you take the class. If you choose to take it a second time you will need to bring your own materials.
Students are required to bring materials:
WARNING: When cooking any vegetable wrapped in fabric, limit the time to two minute intervals. We do not recommend cooking on high longer than two minutes. When longer cooking time is needed, stop, turn the item, then start again. Never leave a microwave unattended while cooking. Use only 100% cotton fabrics, threads and trims.
