All stories have their roots in reality. Author Melanie Conklin will tell the story behind the story of her award-winning novels, and discuss how reality fuels fiction in contemporary literature.
All stories have their roots in reality. Some part of the author’s subconscious latches on to an experience in their life, and that experience fuels the stories they write. Understanding the brain science of stories helps us understand which stories we are meant to write and how to maximize their impact with readers. Meet author Melanie Conklin, hear the story behind the story of her award-winning novels, and discuss how reality fuels fiction in contemporary literature.
All times are in Eastern. This workshop will not be recorded. AI closed-captioning is available.
