Add a new pair of palazzo pants to your Spring wardrobe while polishing your sewing skills.

Day 1: Measuring and pattern review

Day 2: Cutting the pieces and sewing

Day 3: Making the waistband, hemming.

Student must bring the following for class:

  • up to 3 yards of fabric - cotton, cotton blends, linen (fabric not needed on the first day)
  • 1" wide elastic (measure your waist for length)
  • Thread to Match



  • Class Duration: 3 days, 2 hours each day
  • Age Requirements: 13 and up, Adults
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Sewing: Introduction to the Sewing Machine and Patterns and Fabric
  • Required Skills: Students must be able to proficiently use a standard sewing machine.
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $30

LYNX Bus LInk 302 Downtown Disney Direct

The Washington Park Branch serves the Carver Shores and Metrowest areas, along with the many other subdivisions and local businesses surrounding it. The Washington Park branch has a history that dates back to 1924. It is a combination of the former Booker T. Washington and Washington Shores Libraries. The two branches combined as one and opened in this current location on April 11, 1984. Although small, the glass walls on the front and back of the building create a bright, airy and comfortable atmosphere.
