Your family is stuck on Mars! Work together to tackle cosmic challenges and puzzles. Will your family discover the launch code to blast home to earth? Recommended for families with children ages 6-14.

Families will work as a team to complete a series of activities (crafts, puzzles, simple scavenger hunt) to determine the “launch code” needed to fly home from their space mission to Mars.

About the branch

Located in a small "Florida Cracker" style building, with an appealing wrap-around porch, the Windermere branch has an interesting history that spans over four decades. Begun as a town library, it became a branch of the Orange County Library System in August 1991. The current building was constructed through the efforts and the generous donations of many Windermere residents, including those of the Franklin P. Chase Family.
