There is a color for every kind of friendship! Explore the unique meanings of colors, identify which ones represent your friendship and create bracelets using those colors! Recommended for ages 13-18.
Teens will work collaboratively to study and learn about the meaning/symbolism of a variety of colors, then use that information to identify what colors represent their friendships. After identifying these colors, teens will use these colors to create a unique friendship bracelet for a friend (family member, etc.) using embroidery floss.

Located in a small "Florida Cracker" style building, with an appealing wrap-around porch, the Windermere branch has an interesting history that spans over four decades. Begun as a town library, it became a branch of the Orange County Library System in August 1991. The current building was constructed through the efforts and the generous donations of many Windermere residents, including those of the Franklin P. Chase Family.
