Learn the basics of straight stitching while we make bookmarks! Perfect for beginners, all materials will be provided.

  • Class Duration: 2 hours
  • Age Requirements: 13-17 with completed Sewing Lab Waiver
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Introduction to the Sewing Machine (not required to take this class)
  • Required Skills: Someone has used a sewing machine before but may need aid on threading the machine and may need additional practice keeping an even seam allowance.
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)

Note: Fabric is provided for your first class from a limited selection. If you choose to attend this class more than once, please reference the materials list below and bring fabric for your class.
