Video Production Studio

Operate professional Kino Flo and Sola 4 lighting equipment and Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 digital film camera settings to evoke mood and feeling.

Gain experience using industry grade Kino Flo and Sola 4 lighting kits and accessories to master three and four point lighting set ups. Learn how to properly coil electrical cables, and safely position a C-stand with extension arm. 

This class helps prepare students for the Access Assessment - Video Studio, a requirement for booking the Melrose Center Video Studio for personal projects. 

Attendance in the Video Studio Orientation, Melrose Center General Orientation, and successful Access Assessment - Video Studio are required to be able to reserve the Melrose Center Video Studio.

The Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The Library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in the Orlando Public Library include Children's, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children's Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Technology and Education Center is located on the second floor and includes the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
