Learn what a budget is and make your own budget to take home! Discover the difference between needs and wants and fixed versus variable costs. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required.
Please join us for a fun, interactive hour of learning what a budget is and how to apply it everyday. We will cover topics such as “fixed” versus “variable” costs, talk about the differences between needs and wants as well as having the kids work out their own “personal” budget to take home. This will allow them to think critically about the importance of saving and how it impacts their future purchases. Vystar Credit Union representatives will be on site to facilitate the class and answer any questions.
