Learn the basic skills of breathing control and types of meditation. Develop abilities to cope with stress and anxiety through mindfulness meditation. For beginners to advanced; ages 18 and up. Wear comfortable clothes; chairs will be provided if needed.
Facilitators: Lucia Beninati, M.S., C.C. originally from Brazil, has been living in Orlando since 1993. Lucia is passionate about health, nutrition, and mindfulness meditation practice. She is a Registered Dietitian in Brazil and holds a Master of Science Degree in Nutrition in the USA. Lucia is also a certified professional life coach. Combining her skills as a meditation coach, professional life coach, and nutritionist, Lucia is dedicated to help clients to clear their minds through mindfulness meditation, change eating behavior through life coaching , and help clients to reach their health goals through nutrition.
Eliane Ferreira Cesar is a certified life coach & founder of InFocus LC,Llc. Eliane has lived in Orlando, Florida for more than 25 years. She has three adult sons and two beautiful grandchildren. She has a Master’s degree in Science and taught this subject at Valencia Community College. She is also a psychoanalyst associated to the Corpo Freudiano in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Nowadays, Eliane dedicates her time to her family and to her career as life coach, as well as, a psychoanalyst. Eliane has a profound interest in people, specifically on their emotions and their relationships with others and with life in general. She is also the co-founder of a few social projects, bringing some comfort and support also to those in need.

The Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
