Let's Crochet Mushroom Tote Bags (3-Part)

There is so mushroom in this tote bag! Let’s kick off the season with a motif that is both functional and fun-gi! Students must provide materials.

This class is a (3-part) project with classes on 09/02/2023, 09/09/2023, and 09/30/2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

• Class Duration: 3 parts,  2 hours per part
• Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
• Recommended Prerequisite: Crochet Levels 1 and 2
• Required Skills: Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
• Materials Fee: None

Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project:

  Please Note: Students must bring a printed copy of the pattern or be able to access it on a mobile device.
• Medium/worsted (4) yarn
  • Approximately 4 oz in tan (or any neutral tone) for the borders, mushroom stems, and bag straps
  • Approximately 4oz in green (or any earthy tone) for the circle background of the granny square)
  • Small amounts of red, orange, yellow, or similar colors for the mushroom caps
• Size G (4 – 4.5 mm) Hook, or hook size recommended for selected yarn
• Yarn/tapestry needle
• Scissors

*If you do not have the suggested materials, please use any materials you have on hand. At the start of class, please inform the instructor if you are using materials other than those suggested.
