Create a simple box pleat skirt from start to finish using body measurements. Learn how to install a zipper and a simple waistband. Each session will be 2 hours.
Students are required to bring the following materials:
3 yards of medium weight woven fabric (no knits)
Matching thread
7 inch invisible zipper
Students are required to have basics sewing skills and/or taken Introduction to the Sewing Machine, Patterns and Fabric and basic zipper class. Students must
know how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, and sew a straight line.
Registration is required with a Library card in good standing. Seats are limited, so register today!

Located in the Orange Blossom Center, the South Trail Branch is an open, bright branch with lots of sunshine. The branch is located in a commercial center, adjacent to numerous multi-family housing units and is a popular spot for children and families.
The history of South Trail branch spans almost four decades. It began as the Ft. Gatlin branch at 105 Gatlin Avenue in 1965. The branch moved to the corner of Holden Avenue and South Orange Blossom Trail in 1981. The move across the street to the current site in the Orange Blossom Center took place in 1996.
