High school students will earn two hours of community service by lending a hand at Orlando Public Library's Trick or Treat Safe Zone event! Costumes encouraged. Recommended for ages 13-18.
Trick or Treat Safe Zone is a family-friendly Halloween-themed event. Volunteers will assist in setting up and cleaning the event space, passing out candy to attendees and restocking supplies for event activities. Registration is required. Please bring any necessary paperwork needed to log your volunteer hours.

The Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The Library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in the Orlando Public Library include Children's, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children's Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Technology and Education Center is located on the second floor and includes the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
Per CDC guidance, people may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask. Stay home if you are sick or if you have been in close contact with a person with COVID-19.
Any person requiring special accommodations to participate in any class or event due to a disability may arrange for accommodations by contacting the location at which the event is held at least seven days prior to the event.
