Get started with a few basics, and plenty of practice! The Wheat scarf by Tin Can Knits has plenty of garter and ribbing to allow new knitters to build and reinforce skills.

Note: Knitting skills are necessary to be successful in this class. New to knitting? Check out Let's Knit Level 1.
Level | Description |
Beginner | Someone who grasps the most basic stitches and can finish simple patterns with aid. |
Confident Beginner | Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns. |
Intermediate | Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge. |
Advanced | Someone who can adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects. |
