Ever wanted to make your own custom bags, clothes, home decor, or accessories?
Learn to sew your own Tote bag from start to finish in this 3-day class series. Each session will be 2 hours long.
Further your sewing skills by learning how to install magnetic snaps. Age requirements: 13 to Adults.
Supplies will be provided, but if students prefer to purchase their supplies, the following will be needed:
Based on 44" wide fabric
• 3/4 yard Outer fabric
• 1/2 yard Lining fabric
18mm magnetic Snap
Fabric suggestions: Use 8-10 oz duck canvas for outside of bag and quilting cotton for lining.
Skills Required: Participants must be able to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, sew straight seams and cut fabric.
Recommended Prerequisite: Basic Sewing Level 1: Introduction to the Sewing Machine
Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes to this class.

Located in the Orange Blossom Center, the South Trail Branch is an open, bright branch with lots of sunshine. The branch is located in a commercial center, adjacent to numerous multi-family housing units and is a popular spot for children and families.
The history of South Trail branch spans almost four decades. It began as the Ft. Gatlin branch at 105 Gatlin Avenue in 1965. The branch moved to the corner of Holden Avenue and South Orange Blossom Trail in 1981. The move across the street to the current site in the Orange Blossom Center took place in 1996.
