Knit nature on a hexagon canvas. Use duplicate stitch and Intarsia to "paint" the beauty of nature. This month's featured pattern is Maple Leaves
In this 3-part series running on Mondays, November 7, 14, 28 , we will knit a hexagon and and learn skills and techniques such as: How to design your own intarsia chart; how to read the chart; How to add color; How to mix stranding and intarsia; Increases and Decreases; Duplicate stitch; Weaving in the ends. This month's featured pattern is Maple leaves. We will reference a stockinette version of the basic hexagon shape pattern from Yarnspiration's Caron's Hexagon Blanket.
The pattern does not need to be printed, but will be used as a reference for the general structure of the hexagon.
Materials (Instructor will email a finalized materials list prior to the class date).
