Create new sounds and instrumentation. Understand the language of music producers in this introduction to MIDI. This class is taught by Melrose Center Instructors.
Use MIDI devices, virtual instruments and specialized tools to create original sounds.
Required Skills: Ability to navigate, use tools, and route audio within Pro Tools. Understanding of the physics of sound and digital audio theory, including sample rate and bit depth.
Recommended Prerequisites: Pro Tools Levels 1 - 3, Fundamentals of Sound for Audio Engineering
Recommended Audience: Adults
*Please note: ProTools software is recommended but not required to attend.
This event occurs online through Zoom. Please provide your email at registration to participate. A device with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. An email will be sent before the event with more information on how to join. Registration closes 1 hour before event.
