Summer is a beautiful time to stitch butterflies. Geometric designs come together stitch by stitch using Sashiko hand sewing techniques.
Sashiko hand sewing is a Japanese style hand sewing technique using the simple running stitch. Beautiful designs are created when stitches are applied layer by layer and a pattern emerges. Learn step by step how to mark and hand sew to form the geometric design. Suggested pre-requisite: basic hand sewing skills and how to sew the running stitch is required. This month's featured pattern is Summer Butterfly.
Pre-requisite: basic hand sewing skills such as threading the needle, making a knot, running stitch are required.
Duration: This is a 3-part series held on Thursdays, June 15, 22, and 29 at 10:15am-11:15am
This is a Virtual Event hosted through Zoom. Please provide your email at registration to participate. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host.
