PBS Books and ASALH: Association for the Study of African American Life and History present a conversation featuring renowned author Ngugi Wa Thiong’o, Nubia Kai, and Sundiata Keita Cha-Jua.
PBS Books has partnered with ASALH: Association for the Study of African American Life and History to present the final program of the 2021 Black History Month Festival, featuring renowned author Ngugi Wa Thiong’o, “The Perfect Nine: The Epic of Gĩkũyũ and Mũmbi”, in a conversation with retired Howard University Professor, Nubia Kai and Sundiata Keita Cha-Jua, Associate Professor of History and African American Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Cha-Jua will also moderate the conversation.
