Try something new by combining various fiber art skills in one project! Create a fun multidisciplinary project using single, half double crochet, paint and attaching accents to your canvas.
This is an online class hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host.
A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. Please note that Zoom allows you to share your video and audio with the group. If you choose to enable these settings, you are consenting to appear on audio and video. This event is not being recorded and we ask that out of courtesy to the other participants, please refrain from screen captures, photography or resharing information about the participants or the discussion outside of this event.
If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host.
• Class Duration: 1.5 hour
• Age Requirements: 13-Adult
• Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Crochet Level 1, Let's Crochet Level 2 and Let's Crochet in the Round
• Required Skills: single crochet, half double crochet, in the round, increases and light embroidery
• Materials Fee: None
• Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Required Materials: Students should have the following materials to complete the project*:
• 100 yards of medium/worsted/size 4 yarn in 3 different shade of pink
• US G (4.0 mm) crochet hook
• Yarn/tapestry needle
• Scissors
• 11"x17" or 11"x14" canvas
• 94" painter's tape
• 1 black permanent marker fine tip
• 1 pencil with eraser
• Watercolors
• 2 paint brushes (1 fine brush and regular brush)
• Needle
• Pink floss
*If you do not have the suggested materials, please use any materials you have on hand. At the start of class, please inform the instructor if you are using materials other than those suggested.
