Online Class: Let's Knit Nature (4-Part)

Knit nature on a hexagon canvas. Use duplicate stitch and Intarsia to "paint" the beauty of nature.

In this 4-part series running on Mondays, August 8-29. We will knit a hexagons and use duplicate stitch and Intarsia techniques to create knitted nature motifs.  We will reference a stockinette version of the  basic hexagon shape pattern from Yarnspiration's Caron's Hexagon Blanket.

The pattern does not need to be printed, but will be used as a reference for the general structure of the hexagon.

• Class Duration: 1.5 hours
• Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
• Recommended Prerequisite: None
• Required Skills: None
• Materials Fee: None

Materials (Instructor will email a finalized materials list prior to the class date). 

• 1 skein of worsted weight yarn (size 4) (50g) (light color for the background of the motif)
• Scraps of worsted weight yarn (approximately 5-10g) in a contrasting colors of nature (ie, green, yellow, pink) 
• Size 6 knitting needles
